| “Camp
Meru” is a unique learning program for youth conducted
by Meru Education Foundation. The curriculum is designed to
give students an insight into the heritage and contemporary
life of India. Among other things the youth program includes
an introduction to Indian scripts, languages such as Hindi &
Sanskrit with an emphasis on conversation; music theory; literature;
yoga; and geography and ecology of ancient and contemporary
India. The curriculum is designed so that students can appreciate
the link between various Indian arts. The program also brings
world-renowned scholars as guest lecturers with whom there is
an opportunity to interact and have discussions on topics of
interest. |
