Benoy
Behl is world-renowned for his film on Mural
paintings of Ajanta. He has been photographing
and documenting the mural and miniature paintings for
over 15 years. He has made a series of 26 films on "Paintings
of India" photo-documenting ancient Indian paintings
and frescoes for posterity. These illustrated lectures
will present an opportunity to hear from an expert
on the long continuing tradition of paintings from
India. A selection of films will be screened on both
days.
